Indexing and Archiving

SOBER Proceedings is committed to ensuring the discoverability, accessibility, persistent identification, and bibliographic integrity of its published proceedings volumes and conference papers.

Persistent Identifiers and Bibliographic Information

SOBER Proceedings is published under e-ISSN 2980-3160.

Each proceedings volume is assigned an ISBN, and published papers are assigned individual Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs).

Bibliographic information for each proceedings volume and paper is provided through the official SOBER Proceedings publication platform and is maintained to ensure consistency across the published content and associated metadata records.

Crossref DOI and Metadata Registration

Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) assigned to papers published in SOBER Proceedings are registered through Crossref.

The publisher maintains the metadata associated with published papers and proceedings volumes. Where applicable, these metadata include information such as:

- paper title;
- author names and affiliations;
- proceedings title;
- conference title;
- conference date and location;
- proceedings volume;
- publication date;
- page range;
- ISBN and ISSN;
- DOI; and
- URL of the published paper.

Metadata may be updated when necessary to correct or improve the accuracy and completeness of the scholarly record.

Indexing and Discovery

SOBER Proceedings supports the discovery of its published content through structured bibliographic metadata, persistent identifiers, and publicly accessible publication records.

Inclusion in external abstracting, indexing, citation, and discovery services is determined independently by the policies and evaluation procedures of the respective services.

SOBER Proceedings only identifies an external database or indexing service as providing coverage when such coverage has been formally confirmed. Publication of a paper in SOBER Proceedings does not, by itself, guarantee inclusion in any particular external indexing or citation database.

Access to Published Content

Published proceedings volumes and individual papers are made available through the official SOBER Proceedings website.

Each published paper is presented with sufficient bibliographic information to enable its identification, citation, and retrieval. DOI links are provided to support persistent identification and access to the corresponding publication record.

Author Self-Archiving

Authors are permitted to deposit and share the final published Version of Record of their papers in institutional repositories, personal academic webpages, and non-commercial scholarly repositories.

When sharing the published Version of Record, authors should include the complete bibliographic citation and DOI and clearly identify SOBER Proceedings as the original place of publication.

Digital Archiving and Record Preservation

SOBER Proceedings and Malton London Press maintain digital records of published proceedings volumes, individual papers, and associated bibliographic metadata in order to support the continued availability and integrity of the scholarly record.

Published content is retained on the official publication platform, while DOI and bibliographic metadata records are maintained independently through the relevant registration infrastructure.

Where corrections, updates, or other post-publication changes are required, the corresponding publication and metadata records are updated as appropriate while preserving the integrity of the published scholarly record.
